VYA Global Corp
Privacy Policy
VYA guides people through international relocation. To do that well, we need to know your story, and life stories are made of sensitive information. This policy explains, in plain language, what we collect, why we collect it, who we share it with, and what you can ask of us at any time.

01Who we are
VYA Global Corp is a company incorporated in the state of Florida, United States, headquartered in Orlando. We provide consulting and case management services for international relocation, serving executives, business owners, investors, specialized professionals and families.
In this policy, "we", "us", "our" and "VYA" mean VYA Global Corp. "You" means anyone who visits our site, fills out our form, contacts us by WhatsApp or email, or hires our services.
We decide how your information is handled. In legal terms, we are the controller under the GDPR and Brazil's LGPD, and the business under United States privacy laws.
02What we collect
We collect only what you give us, plus the minimum the site needs to work. We do not buy contact lists, we do not scrape public profiles, and we do not build information about you on our own.

When you browse the site
- Your language and theme. Stored in your browser so the site opens the way you left it. This never leaves your device.
- Your cookie choice. Recorded with a date and time, as proof that we honored your decision.
- Analytics information. Only if you allow it. This covers pages viewed, time on page, approximate country and device type. See the Cookies section.
When you become a client
At that stage we begin to need documents, including your passport, professional and academic history, family composition, financial records and whatever else the case requires. We request each document individually and explain why it is needed. Nothing is collected just in case.
VYA never asks for passwords. We will never request the password to your email, your bank or any other account. If you receive such a request in our name, do not reply and let us know right away.
03Sensitive information
This deserves particular attention, and it is where most privacy policies stay vague.
Because of the nature of our work, we handle information that the law treats as sensitive personal information or a special category: your citizenship and immigration status, passport and official document details, racial or ethnic origin where the case requires it, and financial information.
We make three concrete commitments about this information:
- We use it solely to handle your case. Never for advertising, ad targeting or any form of commercial profiling.
- We never sell it, license it, or make it available to third parties for their own use.
- We keep it separate from commercial data, accessible only to the people actually working on your case.
If you live in California, you may ask us to limit the use of this information. The United States section explains how.
04How we use it
- To answer your inquiry and carry out the initial assessment of your case.
- To deliver the services you hired: preparing, reviewing and following your case through.
- To keep you posted on your case by WhatsApp, email or phone.
- To meet legal, accounting and regulatory obligations.
- To protect the site against automated access, fraud and abuse.
- To improve the site, only with your cookie consent.
- To promote our services, only with your consent. You can unsubscribe at any time.
We do not make decisions about you by automated means. Every case is reviewed by a person.
05Why we may use it
Not every use of information depends on consent. Each purpose has its own legal basis, as set out below.
| Purpose | Legal basis |
|---|---|
| Answering your form | Your express request and pre-contract steps |
| Delivering the service | Performance of a contract |
| Case documents | Specific consent and performance of a contract |
| Tax and legal obligations | Compliance with a legal obligation |
| Site security | Legitimate interest |
| Analytics | Your consent |
| Advertising | Your consent |
07Selling data
VYA does not sell your personal information. Not under any circumstances.
There is, however, a technical point we owe you straight. California and several other state laws define "sale" and "sharing" very broadly. If you allow advertising cookies, sending browsing data to Meta to serve ads may be legally classified as sharing for cross-context behavioral advertising, even though no money changes hands.
That is why the decision stays entirely with you. These cookies arrive switched off, they turn on only if you turn them on, and you can switch them off again at any time using the cookie button in the corner of the screen. If you never allow them, none of this happens.
Your case documents and sensitive information never fall into this category, under any circumstances.
09How long we keep it
| Information | How long |
|---|---|
| Inquiries that did not become clients | Up to 36 months, then deleted |
| Client records | For the contract term plus 5 years |
| Case documents | 5 years after the case closes |
| Invoices and accounting records | As United States law requires |
| Record of your cookie choice | 12 months, then we ask again |
| Analytics data | Up to 14 months |
These periods follow how international relocation actually works. Deciding to move countries tends to take years to mature, so we keep the details of people who have not hired us for up to thirty-six months, which lets the conversation pick up where it left off. The five-year period for clients exists because immigration cases are often reopened, renewed or audited long after they close, and missing history would hurt precisely the person who needs it.
You do not have to wait for any of these periods to end. Ask us to delete your information at any time and we will erase everything we are not legally required to keep. Once a period ends, the data is deleted or irreversibly anonymized.
10Security
- The entire site runs over an encrypted connection (HTTPS).
- System access is limited to authorized people, with two-factor authentication.
- Sensitive documents are reachable only by those working directly on your case.
- Providers are contractually held to equivalent protection standards.
No system is completely foolproof, and it would be dishonest to claim otherwise. If an incident occurs that could put you at risk, we will notify you and the relevant authorities within the timeframes the law sets.
11Your rights
No matter where you live, VYA guarantees everyone the right to:
- Know what information we hold about you.
- Receive a copy in a readable format.
- Correct anything that is wrong.
- Delete information we are not legally required to keep.
- Withdraw consent you previously gave, at any time.
- Unsubscribe from promotional messages.
- Face no penalty for exercising any of these rights.
Write to info@vyaglobal.com. We respond within 45 days, usually much sooner. We may ask you to verify your identity. That is not to slow you down, it is to keep your information from reaching the wrong person. There is no charge.
If we turn down a request, we will explain why and on what legal ground, and you can ask us to reconsider by replying to the same email.
12United States
Several states now have their own privacy laws, including California, Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, Texas, Oregon and Montana. Rather than treating residents differently depending on which state they live in, VYA has chosen to extend the broadest set of rights to every United States resident.
Rights we guarantee every state
- Know what categories of information we collect, where it came from, why we use it and who we share it with.
- Access a copy of the specific information we hold.
- Correct inaccurate information.
- Delete the information we hold about you.
- Portability: receive your information in a format you can take elsewhere.
- Opt out of the sale of your information, sharing for cross-context behavioral advertising, and targeted advertising. In practice, just switch off advertising cookies.
- Limit the use of sensitive personal information to what is strictly necessary to deliver the service.
- Face no discrimination. Exercising any of these rights does not change the price, timeline or quality of our service.
How to exercise them
To opt out of targeted advertising, the fastest route is the cookie button. Switch off "Advertising" and the change takes effect immediately. We also honor the Global Privacy Control signal, an automatic notice some browsers send. If your browser sends it, we treat it as a valid opt-out and you need do nothing further.
For every other right, write to info@vyaglobal.com with the subject line "Privacy Rights". We respond within 45 days, extendable by a further 45 days for complex requests, in which case we tell you first.
An authorized agent may act on your behalf with written permission. If you disagree with our response, you may appeal by replying to the same email. Some states also allow you to file a complaint with your State Attorney General.
About messages to your phone. We send promotional WhatsApp or SMS messages only with your express consent. Reply "STOP" and they end immediately. Messages about the progress of a case you hired us for are not promotional and continue as normal.
13Brazil
Brazil's General Data Protection Law (Law 13.709/2018) applies. On top of the rights already listed, you may request: confirmation that we process your data; anonymization or blocking of data that is unnecessary or handled improperly; information about who we share it with; and information about what happens if you decline consent.
For data protection matters, contact info@vyaglobal.com. You may also file a complaint with ANPD, Brazil's National Data Protection Authority.
14Europe
Our site is offered in Italian and Spanish, and we serve people in the European Union. We therefore treat the GDPR as applying to us.
Beyond the general rights, you have the right to object to processing based on legitimate interest, to request restriction of processing, and to lodge a complaint with the data protection authority in your country, such as the Garante in Italy or the AEPD in Spain.
You can withdraw consent at any time, and doing so does not affect the lawfulness of what was done before you withdrew it.
15Data leaving your country
VYA is based in the United States, and so are our systems. If you are in Brazil or Europe, your information will be transferred to the United States. That is unavoidable if we are to deliver the service, and you should know it before you approach us.
For these transfers we rely on the mechanisms the law provides, including standard contractual clauses with our providers, and we require protection from them equivalent to this policy. For your case documents, the transfer is also necessary to perform the contract you signed with us.
16Children
This site is not intended for anyone under 16, and we do not knowingly collect information from that age group. If we find we have received a child's information without permission from whoever is responsible for them, we will delete it.
Family cases are the obvious exception. When a case includes minor children, we handle their information at the request of and with permission from their parents or legal guardians, solely for the purposes of the case, and with the same care we give sensitive information.
17Changes
If anything changes, we update this page and the date at the top. When a change is significant, such as a new purpose or a new provider with access to your information, we notify you by email and ask for your consent again wherever the law requires it.
Previous versions are available on request, so you can compare.
